After a 10 year battle with cancer, at Trillium Mississauga. Deanna, the loving daughter of the late Leonard and Bessie Bell, sister to Allan and devoted mother to Randy Belair. She will be sadly missed by many friends, extended family, her cat Roxy and many ferrets. Safe journey across the Rainbow Bridge Mom. Love you.
Deanna’s Wheelchair
When mom 1st got her wheelchair, she was very excited. Her first time in the chair, she didn’t ask to go to her room or to the bathroom or anywhere else in the house she had not been in months. Instead, she asked to go see the ferrets. She pointed at Sid and smiled, asking if she could hold him. Here she is pictured with Sid, so happy to be back with the beloved ferrets and so proud she could sit up in a chair after being in a bed for 6 months. One thing my mom really missed while she was bedridden for 11 months was being able to “goo” her babies. They were all fat little buggers while she was able to feed them. Sadly, Sid (the ferret pictured with my mom) passed away in November. I bet my mom’s up at the Bridge holding him again.
