At the shelter, we have many "special needs" ferrets. Most suffer from Adrenal Disease, Lymphosarcoma, Insulinoma or other diseases. In order for us to afford their on going care, we began our sponsorship program.

For as little as $10 a month, you can sponsor a ferret at our shelter and provide them with food, medical costs and a warm & safe bed for the rest of their lives or at least for as long as they stay at the shelter. You will receive with your second monthly installment, a photo of your foster baby, a brief bio and a copy of our quarterly newsletter.

It's easy to sponsor a ferret at the shelter. There are three ways to send money:

1. CanadaHelps.org provides a secure website where you can make a "one time" or an automatic monthly contribution. Here you will be able to choose the ferret you would like to sponsor, how much you would like to donate in CANADIAN funds and automatically get a tax receipt for your donation(s).

3. Receipts for checks sent in are calculated on a yearly basis. If you do not have a credit card and wish to sponsor one or more of our ferrets, you can also send in post dated cheques to:
