Bouncin’ Bounty is nearly 3 years old. This Real Canadian Ferret has been spayed and de-scented. Bounty has tested ADV negative and is now up to date with her ferret distemper vaccines. She has also been treated for earmites. This solid gal has thinning tail feathers which are indicative of adrenal disease. Her affected adrenal gland will be removed before adoption. Bounty came to us as a private surrender. Her past owners were unable to afford her vet care. Being another fraidy cat, she is scared of most other ferrets after being the “Star Attraction” in her last home. She is an active ferret with a gentle temperament. This excited ferret hasn’t mastered the art of gently approaching other fuzzies upon introduction. What a shame! Introductions have been ending with disaster altho’ she did find a friend in her foster home. She gets along well with non-aggressive cats & other ferrets who can tolerate her rough & tumble intro. She loves to follow her human pals around. Upon release from her cage, she bounces and dances like a spring-loaded toy. She can chatter up a storm to anyone with a willing ear. Bounty loves balls, tubing, stashing stuffies and sleeping in the closet. Like most ferrets, she enjoys a few laps of ferretone before bed. Bounty would do extremely well as a single ferret. She would flourish with lots of human interaction.
Bounty has attracted a new owner and has happily left the shelter.
