Lexus
This petite dark sable is a new arrival from Mississauga Animal Control. Lexus is about 2 years old. She has tested ADV negative but requires another distemper booster before she can be sent on her way to a forever home. This gentle lass is still very frightened of other ferrets. Lexus hasn’t been able to relax and join in with the other non-aggressive ferrets at playtime. She did enjoy tubing until Rita got a little too aggressive with her. Since then, she prefers safely nestling in human arms away from the fray. Our main observation is that the general shelter environment is causing her stress. She has been moved to a foster home where she can enjoy more one on one attention away from the crowded shelter.
